loving this ink

This is such an incredibly rich color. A deep dark teal and it performs flawlessly. Dries relatively fast for a wet and juicy flowing ink. Zero problems in the pen as well. Love Goulet Pens as they always have what I am looking for.

My new favorite ink?

Beautiful to my eye. Flows perfectly. What more?

Previously unobtanium

It's a lovely dark teal. Very well behaved. Not really a sheener. Not really a shader. I think it's a good enough match for the original. But, some purists might disagree. I would buy this one again.

This is a very interesting ink color!

This Lamy ink is a very interesting color. It's hard to say what color it is, really. It's not a blue/black. It is nice looking on the page whatever color it is!

Lamy Petrol ink

I was happy to see Lamy reintroduce this ink. I bought a Lamy Petrol pen after it was introduced, but didn't buy ink at the time, assuming that it would continue to be available as part of Lamy's ink inventory. I was planning to buy some later, as I really liked the color, but was already stocked up with blue inks. I was disappointed when Lamy actually DID discontinue the color. I was happy when they brought it back, and immediately got a bottle. It is an attractive, "professional" dark blue, and flows well; I'm using it in my Lamy Petrol pen, where it is an excellent match.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which pens can accept this ink? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

Any of these fountain pens will work with bottled ink. Typically, as long as the pen can be filled with a converter, has a built-in filling mechanism like a piston, or can be eyedropper-filled, it can accept bottled ink. You can also refill an empty ink cartridge from bottled ink using an ink syringe.
